BCT returns for the fourth year in a row! This will be the first musical reading in our and their history, so we’re extra honored and thrilled to be hosting.
The Last Five Years follows the story of Cathy, a struggling actress, and Jamie, a budding novelist on the brink of wild success, who meet, fall in love, marry, and divorce over the span of five years. As the musical unfolds, Cathy tells the story from the end of their marriage, moving backward in time to the beginning of the relationship, as Jamie moves forward from their first date to their last goodbye; they meet only once, in the middle, at their wedding. This poignant, funny, and devastatingly honest two-person musical has enraptured audiences around the world with its spellbinding and emotional score.
Doors will open at 6, with the show commencing at 7 pm. Food and drinks from our ART HAUS Bar menu will be available for purchase before/after the show and during intermission. This is an outdoor event, with the bulk of seating on our grassy hillside, so bring a blanket or low-backed chair!
